AI is algorithmic mimicry

Yogi's paper called "Artificial intelligence is algorithmic mimicry: why artificial 'agents' are not (and won't be) proper agents" has just come out as a preprint, on the computer science (CS) section of the arXiv. Getting a paper published there is not trivial. You first need recommendations by at least two registered AI researchers, In addition the paper was carefully scrutinized with regard to its suitability before going online. Not quite peer-reviewed yet (that is under editorial examination at eLife at the moment) but still...
